This feature is usually seen in higher quality watches but Casio really took the extra step to provide this extra feature. After setting the date/time, push the crown in as far as you can while simultaneously screwing the crown clockwise until you cant screw it clockwise anymore. If the gap isn't closing, you haven't engaged the threads. If you don't do this, there'll be a gap and water will be able to get into the case. If you screw the crown down properly, you can, shower, go swimming and fully submerge the watch. Failure to follow these instructions will result in eventual damage to the watch when exposed to moisture.
