They are not. On me they barely wrap under my arms to affix the velcro. So the term 'Universal' really isn't the case. They need to either make the straps longer or sell a larger size for those who are cross fit perfect. If you don’t wear for couple of days in the future - it will start hurting again. If you wear a blazer - yes, it’s great and it’s not visible.
