The lightweight hand-held hydraulic press is very portable and ideal for shop and field applications. The Hydra-crimp can be used on both beaded and barbed hose fittings. The kit comes with a complete set of dies.

Review: Works great to crimp A/C fittings - Worked great, I used this as a last ditch effort to fix some poorly crimped ac fittings on my vehicle. The tool was easy to use and I was able to fit it into my vehicle without removing the lines. (Tight fit) The tool I received is the same design as the one pictured, but its painted a different color and the case has a different layout, it also had a hose cutting tool included in mine. But otherwise all the dies pictured were included, along with instructions and a parts breakdown. Added bonus, it did come with a spare set of seals for the hydraulic cylinder. I'm glad I got the hydraulic version of this and not the manual version.
Review: Was hesitant - I was hesitant if this would be a pro tool or just a piece of junk. It is good quality and works well! I doubt I would count on this for daily use in an AC shop but for occasional use it really makes perfect crimps. It saved me getting the vehicle to a shop that could do the crimps as the lines could not be removed on this 22yo conversion van. Worked first time and seems like it will for the future. I have been a tech for 30 years and used many crimpers over that time, this works as well as any I have used.

**Q: What about the crimping force or cylinder force?**
A: It is meant for AC fittings only

**Q: Is there one of these for hydraulic hose crimping?**
A: Yes we use this one for Hydralic fittings..like a number 6 fitting is 3/8 size..but it will be a 6 and 8srb on die that’s the one you use for number 6 fitting..other than that we have had 0 questions or trouble with it..made over 10 hoses so far ..just make sure you crimp it as tight as you can squeeze the handle

**Q: Will it work on regular 3/8 and 1/2 air hose?**
A: Work for 1/2... but not 3/8... Number 6 die (smallest die) measures 0.740 ID. So #6 die would work for a 1/2 air compressor hose.

**Q: Does this come with 4 or 7 die set as displayed in pictures**
A: 4 dies... 6,8,10,12.....
