As soon as the grinder stops, turn off the coffee maker. Then change the setting to “powder” and in the morning at the scheduled time it will make coffee using the beans you ground last night. I’ve even been able to automate this entire process with a combo of the Atomi smart app “schedule” and Alexa routines. **Q: Can you program how many cups of coffee youwant? E.g., with a full reservoir of water can you brew only 4 cups?** A: Hi! You cannot program the amount that it will brew. Once turned on, it'll brew however much water you have the reservoir (max of 12 cups). The app displays how many cups of water are in the chamber. The machine grinds the correct amount of beans based on the amount of water in the chamber. You can determine the strength you want in the app and there’s a knob on the machine that can be manually adjusted for grinding from fine to course.
