Based on other reviews, I was expecting to end up setting the iOpener aside in favor of a hair dryer, but after a little experimentation to figure out how how it needed to get and lot of patience, it actually worked pretty well. The rest of the prying and scraping tools worked as well as expected, and they mostly all came in useful at some point or another during the process. If I had a gripe it's that the swiveling top on the screw driver that's supposed to let you effectively turn in in place doesn't really spin very well. I didn't need it for this job, and I've got their nicer aluminum version already so this wasn't a big deal for me. Review: Must Have - Awesome kit. Helped me in every facet of repairing my wife's Microsoft Surface Book. Replaced the screen and all the tools worked great with getting the old screen off, carefully disconnecting the wires and ensuring that nothing was damaged in the process.
