Every so often I end up accidentally gluing my finger to something or something to my finger nails. It glues wood, metal and lots of other stuff to my fingernails really well. So, while I haven't purposely glued tips on my nails, I would expect it to work unless the tips are teflon or something like that. If you don't use accelerator you will have a very very short time to position the tips on your nails. With accelerator, you will have almost no time to reposition. You might find that the Thick version might work better. It will stay in place better and give you a little more time for positioning if you need it. Wear eye protection when working with this. Edit: CA glue is not suitable for filling gaps.
