Review: Very good sound for fair price - Paired these speakers (installed in front door panels) with DS18 pro-x698 6x9 in the rear. All speakers are 8 ohms to work with 1980’s vintage AC Delco radio/cassette player as the older ac delco Units are designed for 6 to 10 ohm speakers not the common 4 ohm speakers used this century. Winning combo, great clean sound with excellent bass also. A+++++++++++

**Q: Does it sound deep enough to replace a car speaker?**
A: As far as I know this is an 8 ohm speaker made from home stereo use not car stereo it has a rich full sound I use it with my home stereo

Paired these speakers (installed in front door panels) with DS18 pro-x698 6x9 in the rear. All speakers are 8 ohms to work with 1980’s vintage AC Delco radio/cassette player as the older ac delco Units are designed for 6 to 10 ohm speakers not the common 4 ohm speakers used this century. Winning combo, great clean sound with excellent bass also. A+++++++++++

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beefy speakers with lots of power, but not so much high end.

These are real beefy cones that don’t mess around. I bought these to replaced the cones on a couple box speakers my dad has had since the late 70s. They fit perfectly and definitely brought life back into those old soakers of his. They sound rich and have no problem with you cranking up the volume. My biggest critique though is the tweeter doesn’t seem to be that much of a tweeter. You can’t really hear much of the highest frequency, leaving you with a really rich midrange but not so much detail. I get these cones are more oriented towards people who are looking for decibel levels instead of rich full range fidelity, but that’s not to say they are bad cones. I don’t think they were the right cones for my use case, but they are well built, very quality cones that if paired with a good subwoofer and independent tweeters, they’d do a great job.
