They are a little dim but no more so than any other string at this price point. The remote has a lot of nice effects and overall it's a pretty good deal for the price. However, I had to take off two stars because the first one I received had a bad remote that did not work at all. The second worked fine. It would be nice also if the string could be cut to size since 10 meters is a bit long for some applications. The wire used is extremely thin solid enameled copper magnet wire and sometimes this leads to the LEDs facing the wrong direction, and I'm concerned about kinks in the wire breaking it prematurely. It was already a bit kinked in a few places from being wound up in the box. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty Lights *by H*** on Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2017* Super awesome lights, bright but not blinding. A little easy to tangle, but very bendable. They stay completely cool to the touch. They look amazing on our white Christmas tree with a 5050 strip set to add custom color. They flash fast and slow, smooth or seizure style. The remote works pretty well when you angle the ir receiver right but don't expect distance, I can't get very far, just a few feet. I will be getting more of these types of lights, so useful and easy. ### ⭐⭐ didn't last long *by S***L on Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2018* Bought this in March and it died in July. The lights were pretty while they lasted and the remote to change the lighting pattern was fun. I used these to decorate plants on my covered front porch so the lights were protected from the rain. The lights just didn't last long and I'm very disappointed in the quality of the product.
