Hope that helps. **Q: Why does say it weighs miligrams when it only weighs grams?** A: If you set the THINKSCALE scale to weigh in grams, the display reads out to 3 decimal places. So if you put your item on the scale and it reads out, for example, 0.250 grams, that would be 250 milligrams. It seems to be accurate only to about 2 milligrams. The readings for the same item vary by about 1 or 2 milligrams.
