Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  While the plug says "Rainproof" on the UL side, the other sides specifies that the plug should be in a covered, weatherproof receptacle. To be on the safe side, these little lights will be strung indoors. The length will be sufficient for our 6' tree. I found playing with the remote more useful than trying to follow the manual. Please see photo of in-plug control that helps with the remote control. What I like the best is the dim/brighten option. With our old lights, you couldn't see them during the day but these will be bright enough and then at night when it's dark, you can dim them so it doesn't look like you're trying to land planes.

These are actually really nice lights that are bright and fun. But the main reason I bought them was because in the Q&A there is a question about connecting more than one together (I bought three 300 ft ones) hoping to wrap an outside pine. THEY DO NOT connect.

They’re great looking at the settings allow good variation. The only reason I deducted a star is that if you’re using it on an auto timer, every time the power goes out the setting revert back to the everything cycle/demo mode. While this isn't terrible in of itself, I worry that folks with epilepsy could be impacted by the flashy option. Also, I wish it would just keep my settings, man.

Plugged everything in and nothing turned on. Changed remote battery, doesn’t work. Tried several outlets, doesn’t work. Held the button down for a few seconds on the cord, doesn’t work. Unplugged and replugged in everything, doesn’t work and is a waste of money because I can’t even return it. Literal trash. Instructions were not helpful.

We have our lights on a timer and want them to stay on (no blinking, fading, etc) each time they turn off and on the mode goes back to a default effect. Would not recommend.

These lights are amazing. Love them. Stand out over all the rest. Multifunction. Cant go wrong with these. Best deal I’ve found. Perfect Halloween lighting. So many compliments.
