I’ve had issues with my feet since I was younger following a bad accident where my right ankle was fractured. I used custom made orthotics for about 20 years and for some reason they just stopped working. They became harder to fit in shoes and if they aren’t seated just right they can do more harm than good. I finally gave up on them and would tape my archs myself when I would run, but wanted this support all of the time. Then I found these socks and they are amazing. It’s even better than taping and more cost effective. The compression is also helpful. My archs aren’t collapsing anymore and my back pain and sciatica have resolved. It’s like having orthotics in your socks.
