The trick I found was to find the USB folder as a separate disk drive. It loaded and installed when I made a direct connection of this device to my one standard USB port on my laptop. On older TVs the USB jack is only there to allow software updates/factory programming. This device is not bidirectional anyway so it only goes from usb video to hdmi. **Q: Why do I see two cursors? Is there some setting in the driver that can be changed?** A: It's probably a flaw in the driver code or even a hardware flaw in the conversion. That's not uncommon in devices sourced like this one. **Q: Does this adapter support CEC protocol?** A: It really doesn't support any protocol including USB or HDMI.
