We have used this while floating down rivers, car racing, and underwater many times while on vacation and its been awesome! You can use the same attachments as you would the Go Pro so you can always find the attachment you need for your specific adventure. One things that I really liked about this camera was the fact that it has a color viewfinder which not all go pro have.
