I use a 6 outlet switch rack mount and power everything down that way. The controller remembers the camera settings when powering up **Q: Can Visca and Pelco cameras be controlled in parallel with this controller, or is it limited to one protocol connection?** A: Unfortunately, while you can mix protocols when using RS485 control (parallel wiring not VISCA in-out daisy chaining), you must power down the VISCA cameras in order to get the Pelco camera to work. So practically speaking, the answer is unfortunately no. This may be possible with certain cameras but we have not tested any successfully in a mixed protocol environment. **Q: Can you pan and zoom simultaneously? This is an industry standard. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Needs better instructions *by S***H on July 12, 2019* The instructions were kind of confusing upon initial setup. We finally figured it out through youtube videos and 2 of us trying. I believe it was a camera setting we had to change? Over all, good board. I like that we can control all the cameras we have from one joystick. Buttons can be a bit loud when hitting them in a church service during quiet moments. Joystick is super sensitive at first! But once it gets broken in and you get used to it, it is nice and smooth. One thing we do notice is after calling a camera position, you have to push the escape button to exit the call function. I would rather hit call each time I need a new position and have it just exit out of the call function after it is in position. I have gotten in the habit of hitting the escape button 3 or 4 times after everything I do.
