Works very well, no leaking or air escapes. Happy with the purchase. One thing, I tried to vacuum a bag with fresh herbs, they turned out wet, messy and squashed. I started to store the herbs in a Zwilling container instead and use a paper towel. The same goes with soft fruits, esp. berries, they get crushed and let all the liquid out in a puddle on the bottom of a container. The pump has a strong suctions. The berries should be freezed first. Still experimenting with breads and a manual stop of the pump half way.
