This product was a little hard to understand to get started but as far as night vision not that great in motion texting I don’t have on this

When I initially purchased this the motion alerts worked well. Now, with firmware upgrades it’s totally unreliable. I have now totally disconnected these units and deployed something else.

Great resolution, easy setup. 1 TB a plus. Easy to download video files. They keep getting better.

I am please with this system. The cameras have a very nice and clear picture. My only issue is when I attempt to review and watch the videos you cannot fast forward the video unless you drag it as it is playing and it skips over too much film. Setup isn't the easiest at times, but eventually I get it to work.

In a word, disappointing. I read many reviews before buying this system, but after using this product for almost two weeks, I just don't think it is ready for prime time. There were a number of things about it that were marginal at best. Any one or two issues I could have lived with, but in aggregate I know I wouldn't have been happy over the long term, so I decided to return it after speaking to Vimtag customer service today.On the positive side, installation and setup was very easy. It literally took only a few minutes to get the cameras and the CloudBox to communicate with each other. The only real effort was cutting sheet rock to install electrical outlets, since the cameras need 110VAC power.The biggest issue was the resolution. Unless your budget won't permit a system with better (1080P or 1440P) cameras, you won't be happy with these. These 1 megapixel/720P cameras can hardly be called HD. I could not read my car's license plate in the driveway at 50-60ft distance. Zooming in just pixellated the image. If you want to see if a package has been delivered to your doorstep, it's good enough, but if you want to make out the identify and facial details of an intruder, you need better cameras.It was not possible for me to get the motion detection to work well, especially at night. Even at the lowest sensitivity (1 on the 1-99 scale) resulted in almost constant false alerts at night. It would literally take thousands of pictures every night of "events", but when viewed on video I could not detect any motion at all except for a "shimmering" of pixels that was some type of camera artifact. Both cameras did exactly the same thing.The software is buggy. Often, clicking on a thumbnail image showing a car, for example, bought up a different image with a different timestamp (and no car). Clicking on a few thumbnails before and after would eventually get the the right image, but it was very time consuming.Video playback from the Cloudbox did not stream smoothly. It would stop at random times, sometimes for 1-2 minutes, then resume, but at a timestamp 1-2 minutes later after the event was over. I tried downloading some videos to a local hard drive, but even the downloaded videos had the same missing sections. I was not able to convince myself that the Cloudbox actually captured the missing time slices.I'll be uninstalling everything this week and shipping it back. I bit the bullet and ordered a more expensive 1440P (4 megapixel) wired PoE system that I'm confident will get me much better performance.One last positive is that Vimtag's customer service was easy to reach, and offered to replace the cameras. Considering all the other issues I didn't take them up on it, but they good marks for trying.

I purchased the indoor and outdoor camera on separate occasions, so far I have been happy with them both.The outdoor cameras resolution could be a bit better in my opinion and I wish there was audio for the outdoor camera.The indoor camera is pretty nice and has a 360 deg with a very good mic.Set up on the cameras is pretty strait forward and easy.I recently ordered this outdoor kit to add to my other cameras but the company sent me the indoor kit instead, I had no problems returning and re-ordering the outdoor kit a second time only to be inconvenienced and disappointed, they sent me the indoor kit again instead of the outdoor kit!Decent cameras for the price if you can manage to get the kit you ordered.

Love this camera. I installed 2 cameras and love the picture quality. So far no issues at all.

One of the cameras worked for about30 day’s before it crapped out!
