"Our three ring binders make indispensable home, office, and school supplies. While there are many binders available, only our plant-based 3 ring binder set offers the sustainable organization you've been searching for. These binders are made of at least 59% biobased material and come with a cover made with up to 25% plant-based renewable plastic. The durable chipboard is made from 100% recycled material and a minimum of 98% post-consumer content. Plant-based content is carefully tested using ASTM D-6866 standards. Each important document binder features a clear overlay along the front, back, and spine, allowing you to customize your presentations, projects, and more. A non-stick polypropylene cover adds durability and effectively prevents the transfer of ink or lifting of copy when materials are inserted into the cover or placed inside. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you have a 2 or 2 1/2 or 3 inch D ring leather, heavy duty, binder that has sleeves on the inside on both sides?**
A: 3 inch

**Q: Do these have the no hassle one end release?**
A: Not really.  Over time they get a bit lose and require both hands to operate.

**Q: How many sheets of loose leaf paper does it hold?**
A: I loaded the folder with "My Life Story" from Storyworth with 146 pages, and it was full. But it would probably hold 150 sheets of paper.

**Q: Are these biodegradable?**
A: Most likely semi biodegradable.  It isnt 100 percent plant based, and the metal ring assembly most certainly is not degradable, at least not for decades.  In addition, the plastic shell seems rather water proof.  I imagine the cardboard center is biodegradable, but then again, this is true of almost all binders.  I imagine this is a lot like the dietetic bottled water that appeared a couple of years ago.  Buyer beware.
