**Q: Is this for gel nails?**
A: I think you can use as a base for gel nails.

**Q: Can you use this as a base before you glue nails on ?**
A: Sorry you can not used like that

**Q: Can this be used with Essie gel couture polish and top coat?**
A: I use it with any nail polish and have had no issues.  I also use the Essie Speed Setter top coat.  
If you have any further questions, perhaps contact Essie.

**Q: Is Essie here to stay base coat for gel polish ?  It never specifies.**
A: I have not used it with gel polish--just regular Essie product.  What I can say is it works.  I have weak nails and polish used to chip--using this it no longer does and it lasts.
