**Q: My optometrist recommended Optelec 4X/12 D PowerMag+, BrightWhite, item # 9504W.  Is this the same model?**
A: It must be different. The name is ultraoptix not optelec.  No mention of the 12 number that is in your info. The light is nice and bright.  The number under the bar code is x000hzpv09 on my package.

**Q: Is there only one led light source or they have several bulbs surrounding the magnifier area?**
A: Only One light source, located in the lower magnifier area just above the Blue on/off switch.

**Q: whgat about the batteries??  how manyand what size???  good grief!!!!!**
A: I bought 2.  One I bought last month came with batteries.  The second I bought had no batteries and does not work when I put them in

**Q: Does the light switch have to be constantly pressed for the light? Or is it an actual switch for on or off?**
A: Light  on magnifier works like a light switch - turn it on and it stays on until you turn it off.
