Install the camera on tripod or stable level surface Setting infrared shooting mode (see details in camera's instructions) Aim the transmitter on remote control at infrared receive on the camera (within 30 degree of right angle of the lens axis and front lens are the best angle for operation) and press the shutter release for shooting. (For outdoor shooting, make sure the subject is not backlight and the line between transmitter and infrared receiver is not blocked by lens or other obstacles) Camera's selection mode can adjust focus and capturing view. Please see details in camera's instructions. Infrared ray can't be seen by human and you can' see any light from the LED on the end of remote control when operating.
