In my personal experience, Gelli Arts stands the test of time vs. Gel Press. The squish factor on the Gelli Arts is better than Gel Press - in my personal opinion. My Gel Press plates after a while don't release as cleanly and easily as the Gelli Arts plates. Causing me to actually need to replace them which is more expensive than the price difference. Also, if I can offer some correction to the NCF reply of 4/5/18 - Gelli ARTS is MADE in the USA, it's Gel Press that is made in Taiwan. I am not affiliated with either company, just a heavy user and after thousands of prints, and teaching printing on youtube and in person/online classes, it's just what I've noticed between the two. Both are great products, and will get the job done. I use both, but I prefer Gelli Arts. They also have Bristol and mixed media paper which is a little heavier not made for transfer/rubbing but great to pull a print off a Gelli plate.Also Ranger makes a paper you can use for transfers. You tube has many videos on transfer/rubbing. Type in YouTube search box Archival paper for transfer and rubbing. You will be surprised at what you find. **Q: What is this used for?
