Luckily, they are his favorites. There also a variety of sound affects to change your voice, so it makes it more fun to play with. If you're looking for a karaoke type device and have a variety of songs, this is NOT the device for you. BUT, if you want to use a portable microphone (for a small crowd) or distort your voice for fun, this is a great device. I bought 2 of these. One for my son and the other for my niece. My 11 year old niece rarely uses hers for the music, but has used it for family gatherings and her 'announcements' to the family as the MC. Very cute.My 8 year old son loves the few songs I put on his mic, so I catch him using it here and there.
