I had all of them as long as possible but always felt it was still too high compared to my other straps. I had no idea until a few days ago that they made a longer one... and this one is LONG. While the others I had almost no velcro left to hold it in place this was one pretty much perfect out of the box. Very happy to finally have one I feel comfortable with!!! The quality of materials seems the same as my other ones which has been fine. I'm not sure it's real leather but if it is, it's not super thick. One of mine is about 13 years old and is starting to look quite worn but hey, it's a 13 year old strap.
