Review: Good - Good Review: Best car accessories for nighttime ! - I liked this product soo much that I bought 6 total and I'm gonna buy more for all my cars and my family's cars! This is the best car accessory for nighttime! The convenience!!!!! I really like how the kit has everything you need to hook it up! Easy install and direct connect to the battery! I have one under my hood and I connected 5 together in my trunk because I hate shadows in my trunk because I don't want to lose any small screws etc since I am currently working on my trunk for my project car! I definitely recommend this to all car enthusiasts or even just a normal car owner that does need light in the engine bay.. the convenience of hands free not needing to hold a flash light to check your oil or a quick look at your fluid levels etc.. The light goes on automatically once you open the hood and the button is released from the closed position of the hood.. Extra bright and water resistant.. could be waterproof tho I haven't tried it.. also, if you don't need this under your hood, you could still use this led strip for anything you need light for. comes with wires already connected to the led strip so no soldering is necessary.. also has a 3m sticky tape to stick to surfaces.. make sure you clean with alcohol on the areas of dirt and oil before sticking the led strip to surfaces. ## Features - 【WORK IN THE DARK】The car under hood work light is super bright, the 12V-14V LED light strip has a length of 36cm, which is ideal for illuminating engine bays and hard-to-see areas under the hood of your vehicle. Can I connect power to positve battery post?** A: Yes. You should be fine to use the power cable provided with the light, the draw from this LED strip is very low, the 20 gauge wire provided is more than adequate, if a little short. I had to use my jump start post in my 2003 Yukon because there wasn't enough wire provided to reach the battery once the light was installed on the hood. **Q: Does the button get pushed to cut power?** A: Yes, when the plunger is pressed in, the light will go off. So the switch has to be mounted so the the hood of the vehicle can press the button down when the hood is closed so that the light is off. I hope this helps. **Q: Can two light bars be installed in series?** A: Potentially, however the wire is fairly thin and is probably only safely able to handle the power draw of a single light **Q: Can you wire this into the inside of a truck toolbox?** A: Sure. As long as you have a 12v line or battery, you should be able to install it. Just be careful if you have to drill a hole out to wire it through your truck bed. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good *by S***S on 6 September 2026* Good ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best car accessories for nighttime ! *by S***Y on 2 August 2021* I liked this product soo much that I bought 6 total and I'm gonna buy more for all my cars and my family's cars!
