I had two people help me put the cover on the pool and then add the cable. There were always tears or, by the second season, grommets torn out of the edges, and the cover basically not keeping things out of the pool making the pool opening 10x harder (because of all the stuff in the water).Not with this cover! This cover is fantastic. It cost half again as much as the cheap black cover but is 100x better. Seriously. Nothing got into my pool this winter - I pulled the cover off and the water was as clear as when I put it on. No tears anywhere, no sunlight through any of it, every grommet around the edge like when it came out of the package - it is like a thick plastic tarp. It looks the same when I removed it as it did when I installed it.When I bought it, I thought I'd be ahead of the game if I got two seasons out of it. If it keeps up like it has this first season, I'll be getting way more than that.
