Works around my whole yard of 25,000 sq. ft. (1 acre surrounded by forest on two sides and about 10 trees in the lawn). I have used this out in the street (asphalt) to clean up leaves from my trees without any tears to the bag (yet). The bag is made from a closely knit cloth material that is 'light to medium weight' relative to it's size. I have a 2 bag grass catcher on my Craftsman 42" lawn tractor and this bag will easily hold about 12 bags from my grass catcher (depends on leaves, moisture). I can usually go through my entire yard with about 4 dumps at the height of 'leaf drop' (early October) which takes about 1 hour. When I used to use the 2 bags on the grass catcher, this was a 3+ hours ordeal. It is REALLY heavy when full so I suggest you make sure you are near your dumping area to unload the leaves. I try to set my mower on the highest setting (6) so it will suck up leaves and minimize the grass cuttings. THIS BAG IS DESIGNED FOR BAGGING LEAVES NOT GRASS. Try to keep the lawn cut as short as you can before using this bagger OR set the mower height high so it won't cut the grass. On regret are the zipper on the rear of the dump bag ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks weird, works great! *by S***N on November 26, 2017* Worked great for my yard filled with a variety of hardwood tree leaves, using a 2001 Scott's (John Deere) S2348 lawn tractor with the powerflow bagging system. I was skeptical given the bulky appearance of the bag, yet this relatively simple product translated into a huge time saver. To save wear on the bag (and perhaps lighten the load on my tractor), I decided to try placing the bag in my tow-behind trailer. It worked pretty well except that a significant portion of the leaves consistently weighted down the part of the bag between the tractor and the trailer, causing me to have to stop and try to adjust it to the back with only about half a bag. Thus, I tried it without the tractor and had even better results with the bag just dragging along behind me. I collected about 7 or 8 full bags of leaves in about 90 minutes and had no trouble dragging the bag to my woods for emptying. I did not notice any visible wear on the bag at the end of the day. The only issue I had was blowback of leaves & dust as the bag filled up. I experimented with different configurations for the two cinching closures on the bag and was able to minimize the issue after testing a few out. I still end up covered in dust & dirt, but that was to be expected and it made that shower feel all the better.
