It is cut with rice flour. As another answer states: the math doesn't add up. This capsule is only 44% caffeine by mass/weight. Math aside, I can taste the rice powder because I dump my caffeine pills into a water bottle to drink the caffeine in solution. It also turns the water cloudy white, which doesn't happen with pure caffeine. The "Gods Speed" caffeine pills I used to get on Amazon are 100% caffeine, and the capsules are about 1/2 the size, which supports the "only 44% caffeine" conclusion. **Q: If i take these will i turn into jesse spano from saved by the bell and get "so excited?"** A: I am so excited , am just so tired **Q: Would these have a taste? Like if I were to open the capsules and use the powder to make energy bars?** A: Ok I tried it. I tasted nothing at all. Suprisingly. So I would say you're good to go.
