So i remembered I bought it from desertcart, so I emailed them and they told me usually there's only a 30 day warranty but in my case, theyd make an exception. They sent me a replacement, free of charge. All I had to do was send back my old one (which I did a few days ago). WOW! Let me say, I AM IMPRESSED WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am so happy they made things right with me! They were very kind to me and I will definetly be showing off my fitbit to my family on this cruise (ALOT of us are going) and ill be trying to convince them of this amazing device, and also to purchase from desertcart if they do get it!! Review: Really Pleased - I received my Fitbit Zip almost three weeks ago, and I am extremely pleased with it! I have given the Zip a rating of 5 stars because it has done exactly what I purchased it to do. Motivated me to move more and allowed me to keep track of progress, I'm very results motivated so seeing results every day has really helped me. I work as an Administrative Assistant and I have to sit for a big portion of the day, but I have still been able to double my average steps since I got it and I find myself taking more walks after work and even walking in place in front of the photo copier as apposed to standing still. I also really enjoy the ability to track my water intake via the free app, because I always seem to forget to drink enough, I've tripled my water intake in the past few weeks. Pros: * The color is pretty much exactly the same as shown in the photo, bright pink, which is helpful when you misplace it because it is very tiny * The size makes it easy to hide under clothing while still looking professional, which is important because I work in an office. It is also very light and I find the opening the back to put the battery in to be very simple. * Very accurate regardless of if you clip it to your shirt/bra, or your waist band. * I have not noticed it to record car rides as steps even when on three hour car trips. I saw a few reviews that referenced this as a problem. I'm not sure if was a glitch that was fixed before I purchased mine or if it was a function of their specific Zips not working quite right. * I find the little faces the Zip makes at you hilarious and surprisingly motivating, I always feel a sense of accomplishment when I see the little smiley face. * The distance tracker is also really encouraging to see, as is the calorie tracker. However, a note on the calorie tracker, I'm fairly certain that the Zip calculates your total calories burned in a day, not just the calories burned from how much you move. I saw a couple reviews that stated they thought the calorie counter was way off, I think this is why they felt this way. * The free app/membership is really nice. I like how you can track and chart your progress and the little shower of smiley faces they give you when you meet your daily goal. However I don't use the calorie, sleep or weight tracker, so I can't comment on those. * I find it to be very secure. I haven't had the Zip itself fall out of the clip or the clip come lose from my clothing. Happy walking! ### ⭐ BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! *by G***K on March 2, 2015* I LOVE my Fitbit Zip! I clip it on to my bra first thing in the morning and don't take it off until I go to bed at night. It is such a motivator and so easy to use. I always thought that I was pretty active, taking in hopefully 10,000 steps a day! Boy, was I wrong. Now when I sync my zip to my computer, if I don't have at least 10,000 or at least 5 miles, I'll go for another walk or practice my line dance steps just to get in my numbers! My sister-in-law, who lives in another state also has one and we are now fitbit buddies! We can see how many steps we are doing, and I try to keep ahead of her. I'm so glad that I bought this Zip! I've had it now for almost 2 weeks and I just got my Penguin March badge for going over 70 miles! What a hoot. I also have my Urban Boot badge for doing 15,000 steps in one day and I am working on my next badge for 20,000 steps.....it ain't easy but like I said it is a motivator! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay healthy and maybe even lose some weight, like me. Well, after 2 weeks of bliss, the zip would not sync to my computer, no matter what we did.
