**Q: Will this work on a computer to a amplifier ?**
A: Hello, it cannot be used on computer because the computer does not have ARC function

**Q: Is the output via RCA sufficient enough to go directly to a small pair of passive speakers without need of amp?**
A: No

**Q: Will this work on earc hdmi from my tv to a arc hdmi audio extractor?**
A: I think it will. The manufacturer is helpful and happy to answer your question. They did mine.

**Q: Can i connect hdmi arc from tv to this device and take optical output to soundbar. in that case, can i control the volume using the tv remote?**
A: This configuration didn't work for me.  The TV remote volume control worked for RCA and headphone output, but not optical.  The sound came through, but I had to use the sound system remote to control the volume.  I will be returning it soon.
