Well worth the money ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great strings *by J***G on 23 January 2026* I tried both 80/20 vs phosphor bronze bluegrass, and the blue pack acoustic on 3 different Martin models and a gibson. They are all top line and play well. That said, of these 3 strings, I prefer the phosphor bronze bluegrass. But wait there's more! I recently started using the XT PB 12-56 and dig them for flat picking of course on my D28 and D45 and gibson j200. I've used them also on my D18 and I think they were a bit over bearingly pronounced for mahogany. Mahogany should be kinda more blended, warm and forgiving. So im trying a pack of string joy brand on 18 and those are a mellower play and less "tattle'y" on my mistakes and suit a rhythm playing style with some small simple pentatonic licks.
