I feel like even with a professional series kitchenaid, even the highest 10 setting takes forever for pasta to go through the extruder. **Q: I would like to make some cheese straws. will this attachment work?** A: I doubt it. The dough required for this attachment and needs to be hard and needs gluten to hold it all together. If you plan to add cheese to the dough and do it that way, it may work, although I’ve not tried it.
