Great price, works well
I gave this to my husband as a Christmas gift. Easy to set up and access the photo card to view indoors. We’ve enjoyed seeing all the wildlife visiting our bird feeders. Even got a good laugh at the neighbor dancing in her yard over by our property line.

Various things people may find good to know
Not really made explicit anywhere but when you turn it on the LCD screen shows what the camera is seeing, which is great for setting it up, and a feature that's been missing on Bushnell cameras (and many others) for years. That was a major reason I bought this one, having to race back and forth to a laptop twenty times to get the image set up right would drive me nuts. The picture in the manual shows the SD card being inserted upside-down (contacts at the top), it actually goes in face-up.When the description says it uses SD cards it really does use full-sized SD cards, not micro SD like almost everything else does. If all you've got is micro SD card you'll need to use a plastic SD card adapter for the camera. The files get big really quickly, a few 30-second videos at medium resolution (1080p) consumed over a gigabyte of space. If you've got a 32GB SD card lying around that you decide to use, it's not going to go far. This is a bit of a problem because while micro SD card capacities keep going up, common full-size SD cards have mostly topped out at 32-64GB. Everything over that size is not common and often stupidly expensive. Looking at a local supplier, they don't even have a 512GB SD card while micro SD cards in the same capacity and from reputable vendors (Samsung, Sandisk, Kingston) are plentiful.Files are saved as MOV's (QuickTime), circa 1992. I mean, pretty much anything can still play these things, but yeesh! The encapsulated video is H.264 with AAC audio, but the choice of MOV instead of MPG as container format is puzzling. The camera runs fine off rechargeable NiMHs, just drop in some Eneloops and you won't have to throw away a set of batteries each time they run down.Someone who did a partial teardown of one pointed out that the screws are inside the gasket rather than outside as is normal for IP67 cases, which means the screw holes present a potential ingress point for moisture. The silicone protective caps for fibre optic connectors are exactly the right size to plug them, but if you don't happen to have those lying around you may want to press a blob of vaseline into each hole to prevent moisture ingress. If anyone from Bushnell is reading this, Google "ip67 gasket" in image mode to see what I mean about how the gasket should be laid out.

Not a reliable camera
When this camera works it works well. Images and video are sharp and clear. Bushnell customer service has been great. Unfortunately I have had to work with customer service way too many times. I am now on my forth camera. They have all been replaced under warranty which I appreciate, but I really just want a camera that keeps working. Each camera has had a different issue. One just stopped working all together, another started taking pictures and video in black and white only, and another started taking choppy video after a while. Hopefully the forth one remains solid. If the camera was consistant I'd glady give it five stars because it has everything I want.

I am really pissed of with this cam.
The media could not be loaded. When it does take a video its great. I just downloaded 10 videos of bucks out back and only 1 of them came out. This is junk and I would like it replaced ASAP

Comes with a micro-usb and no cable
I am not impressed so far. First, there is not even a cheap card so one can get started. I suspect Bushnell could easily get a small card for no more than $10 or less. So you can't get started until you get a card. Second, and worse, it is advertised as having a usb port, but it is a port that is no longer standard for most people. It's a micro-usb, and so I've had to order a converter in order to download any material I eventually get on the disc I had to order. -- Again, Bushnell has chosen a cheap USB, with no cable. Compare this with Vikeri's M9 -- it comes with a 25GB card and a cable. Shame on Bushnell.

Best I've used
Batteries last a very long time. Batteries are from August 2024 and still have plenty of power left. Captures adequate photos of animals stealing vegetables from the garden. Much more reliable than some of the less expensive cameras. You get what you pay for. This camera is top notch.

Camera sensor inadequate
The photos are clear close up if the sensor detects the animal. However, it is not good for small animals that come in to feed and then dart out of sight such as foxes. You get pics of missing food without the diner! The sensor does not deploy to alert the camera to snap the picture quickly enough. Animals that linger and eat slowly like opossums are captured. While close up pictures are clear those in the distance 10 feet and over are dark. Also had problems with Bushnell. A week after we had the camera we called the help line. The rep said the sensor was probably defective and would send a replacement. It never came. We waited for the replacement to send ours back. Thank you Amazon for stepping up to the plate and refunding the cost since I was 3 days over the return period because I kept trying to contact Bushnell to check on the replacement. All lines were ALWAYS busy no matter when I called. The calls were disconnected. 2 weeks of calling with the message yesterday that the company was experiencing "a higher than usual amount of calls"!
