No longer make it stiff, maybe make it flimsy. I use soap and water and a brush to get sweat stains out of my golf hats. **Q: Is the crown of the hat floppy when worn, or does it maintain a ridge shape when worn?** A: It maintains its ridge **Q: Does it come with a strap in case it is windy?** A: Yes it does **Q: What is the brim size ?** A: The flap all the way around is approximately 3-3/16” or 8cm and my normal baseball type hat that I wear is about a 7-1/2” or 7-5/8”. I wanted a hat that had structure and wouldn’t flop. This hat really delivered on that. Skin cancer running my family and I decided this year, I’d stop messing around and buy something that would give me coverage. Bonus feature: When it rains, water won’t drip down the front of the brim like baseball caps do. No more struggling with that while putting. The strap can be easily removed or added as needed.
