The Bad Boy and the Tomboy Paperback – July 7, 2016

I'm a big reader, and i take pride in the quality and care of my books. However, when I received this book the spine was damaged and the cover was damaged as well. I love the book, I read it in middle school and wanted to buy it to support the author and for nostalgic purposes, I'm just not happy with the way it got to me.

This is a really good book. Good characters, good character development, good story line, and a really good backstory. I read the original story to this and the written one is actually really good in my opinion. Don’t read this book if you aren’t familiar with the “Wattpad writing style” this is definitely a Wattpad book. But Wattpad lovers would LOVE this book! Again , 10/10 recommend!

I first read it on wattpad. I feel in love with it there and was happy that she was able to publish it. I recommend it to any one that loves these types of books.

I originally read this book on Wattpad, and to this day it is still my favorite book of all time. Because of how many times I've read it, I know the story like the back of my hand.If your coming to buy the book from Wattpad, just a heads up, it's majorly different. Most of my favorite scenes were removed and the writing is kind of choppy.If your still interested in the story, I recommend going back to the app Wattpad and reading it there under the same title.

I love this book so much! I was so sad that she made it a paid story on Wattpad but when I saw that she made a hard copy, I just had to get one because it is one of my favorite books of all time! Some parts may be different from the original but she made them really similar! Totally RECOMMEND 🥰💚

When I heard this book was going to get published, I knew I had to get my hands on a physical copy because I loved the story I read on Wattpad so much.I knew there were going to be edits made to the story but I underestimated just how much the original plot and details were going to get erased. The charm and heart of the original story were completely stripped in the published version. I don't fault the author but instead, blame the editors and Wattpad Books. Everything from the characters and plot felt forced, fast-paced, and half hearted. Nothing was fully developed. The writing paled in comparison to the original.All the quotable moments from the original were gone which drastically decreased the quality of my reading experience. The Sam, Macy, Caleb, Jasmine, and everyone else in this version were such a bore and at surface level. Plots and details from the original story were introduced so early and not fleshed out. Only people who read the original version would appreciate the small details. The published version removed basically everything enjoyable from the original story. I understand it was a lengthy piece of work but this version took out all the best parts. Definitely going to revisit the original after reading this.

Love the book 📖

I’ve read the original book so many times on Wattpad, it’s honestly hard to put a number to. The thing with reading the published version after reading the original version so many times is I was waiting for my favorite moments, which were taken out of the final copy. I also feel like there was so much that was changed that really didn’t need to be changed, like Sam’s family, Macy’s extended family, and even the relationship dynamics of Macy’s friend groups. Stevie, in the published version only had like two lines, and people like Natalie and Stephanie were written out.There was a lot that was taken out in the published book that made it hard to push through. Now trying to read the second book on Wattpad, the storylines hardly match up. Im really just let down by the changes made in the change from online to physical.

I absolutely loved TBBATTB on Wattpad. When I heard that it was going to be published I was ecstatic. This book has been one that I’ve constantly reread and it’s never failed to amaze me. Although, the published version is SO different to the original one. I’m not fond of the fact that Sam isn’t related to everyone like in the book. Yes, there were some scenes from the og book in the published one, but it wasn’t the same. The ending threw me off. I loved how it ended in the original book and how it mentioned then falling in love in 69 days, not 72.To summarise this, if you haven’t read the original book, then this is definitely worth reading. If you’re from Wattpad, I think that it’s something to consider. I loved Macy and Sam’s story and I just think that there were so many scenes (from the wp book) that could’ve made this book a lot better.

Loved how it covered lots of important issues, racism, sexism, loss, LGBT+, friendships, love and family! Really good books!! Definitely recommend it! Also loved how she was the only girl on the boys football team!!!

Loved this book. Romance at its best. Would love a sequel. Nice change to the usual bad boy /good girl story

I am so disappointed the main parts , puns of the story which could be included weren't included. Macy has lost her essence in this book.The fact they changed Sam's real family n showed Macy's dad strict and macys dad n sam not shared the bond they had shared on wattpad was a total turn off. If u have read the wattpad version this book is gonna disappoint u . I love the wattpad version wayyyyyyy to much for it to be spoiled like this in the paperback . For 1st time readers this maybe nice read but for the once who have followed the story from wattpad will be disheartening

I use to love this book on wattpad. Read it probably more than 10 times. But I freaking hate this paperback version. I know they need to edit and cut down chapters but it stole the whole essence of the book and the "found family " troupe. Many characters were missing and it was very boring. If you have read this on wattpad don't buy this paperback version. I still love Sam Cahill.
