When I got it, I sat back, cranked up my big flatscreen and 1000 watt sound system, and devoured the whole thing in one giant bite. With no interruptions between songs, and big full-fidelity sound and picture, I felt myself drifting off the planet to...who knows...Heaven? The girls are certainly punk-angelic like, and their music, their singing...all of it transports me every time I put this thing on. Not many things on this earth are ever this satisfying. Several moments of their performance are downright remarkable - Lisa's extended "...you don't even caaaaaaare....." flattens me every time I hear it. (Tears and goosebumps.) I'm also moved again and again whenever they face each other on stage, or hold hands while singing. Jess' raspy screams are powerful enough to lift the roof of your head exactly at the right time....so many special moments that other bands could never bring to a live audience. These girls are special...so GD special I could cry for days. It's like they take all the poodoo in the world and sweep it away forever, allowing you to drink the precious musical beauty in...no pain, no conflicts, just fresh soothing happiness. Of course, I'm now addicted to them, and my only hope now, is that they don't change too much before I get a chance to see them in concert, (They just turned 30 the other day, so sour changes can't be that far away.) Maybe their twin status will provide an immunity of sorts. It's been working up 'till now, so one can only hope. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Musical Genius *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2014* This may be the most exquisite concert I've ever seen. I obsessively watch it over and over. As beautiful and dramatic as their recorded music is, to see them perform it live provides a whole new dimension. They sound so much alike that you can't tell which one is singing by the sound, you have to see them. And they way they trade the lead back and forth effortlessly, as if they were reading each others' minds is astonishing. OK, I know they practiced that, but it still amazed me.One of them will be singing along and suddenly there is a gorgeous harmonic there in the sound and you see the other twin with the microphone up to her mouth. The music that they write and record is beautiful, but watching them perform it is truly amazing. The harmonies, syncopation, timing and interaction is spectacular, and not obvious in the sound, you have to actually watch them do it to appreciate it.They are manic. They dance, gyrate, jitter and bop around the stage. Every few minutes they touch each other--squeeze shoulder, arm around waist, hold hands. It says, I love my sister and we're in this TOGETHER. It's endearing. At the end of "4ever", Jessica climbed the guitar player and tackled him to the stage, with him still playing as he fell over, while Lisa grabbed one of the drummer's sticks and began beating a cymbal. They are just so much fun to watch.I first began listening to this band when I heard raucous, driving rock-pop with suggestive lyrics like "Take Me On the Floor" and "4ever". But seeing these two perform ballads and love songs like "All I Have" or "Mouth Shut" has suddenly got me listening to other genres. I can't wait to see what they release next. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth the Money! *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2009* I saw the Veronica's live in concert four times this summer. While nothing compares to seeing them live, this DVD does a good job of capturing the concert experience. My favorite moment of the summer, and my favorite part of the DVD, is the acoustic version of Heavily Broken. That song starts with Jess on the acoustic guitar and Lisa singing the intro. The song stays acoustic for about 3 minutes (where Lisa sings "and you don't even care...") then the band comes in and there is a strong finish. This was great to see live (though they only did the acoustic part in one of the four shows) and the DVD captures the true talent of these girls.
