I originally bought a different case - one of the soft TPU inner, hard plastic outer cases. It was very protective but also very bulky and this phone is not the most svelte phone on the market to start with. The soft rubber corners made sliding it in and out of a pocket cumbersome.This case is perfect for my needs. Slim cover made of a harder, more plastic like material but with a nice sandpaper like texture to aid in gripping. Slides in and out of a pocket nicely but provides some added grip. It has a very slightly raised front to protect the screen when you lay the phone down and the back is just thick enough to stick out past the camera module. It could probably stand to be a tad thicker as it BARELY comes out past the camera module on the back and past the front screen on the front, but it works for me.As for access to slots and buttons - the top and bottom are completely open and not covered at all. The case curves around the top and bottom just enough to grip the phone but don't really cover the top/bottom. The power and volume buttons on the side have holes to access them directly rather than rubber button covers like other cases, That's fine by me.If you need drop protection, this probably isn't your case because it is a very slim plastic shell, but that is precisely what I was looking for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Slim and lightweight *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2017* I've owned Bear Motion covers before (HTC One) so when I saw that they made a version for the Moto G4, I jumped on the deal.What I love about it: Slim and lightweight. protects the phone but doesn't add the bulk. Simple and easy to put on, just snaps on and that's it. The case itself even has grainy textures that makes the phone easier to grip and adds traction.Some Cons: Plastic pieces by the buttons can break easily if not careful. I don't mind it that much since that plastic part is more bothersome than not when it was just. It's a win/lose situation, you lose the ascetic appeal but gain a little bit of functionality back.
