Fun and Easy Lego Pickup and Storage
Finally a way to store and sort all the thousands of LEGO pieces my 5 year old grandson keeps at our house! Easy and simple to use. We were using Ziploc bags, but that soon became a disaster...sorting through all of them for a specific piece. The Blokpod sorts into three basic sizes...unscrew, put segment on the floor and searching is so much easier. PLUS makes picking up at the end of the day a game...as he watches them 'sift' through the grates. An all around fun and easy way to pick up.

Its ok, not the best product from my experience
Concept is cool and works, however a slight oversight in my part was the ease of separating the compartments. My older child can do it fine, but the younger one is not as strong and has a hard time pulling the two compartment apart (they fit super snug). I admit I had a hard time when I initially opened it up and you don't wanna force it and break the plastic. Another oversight...when you separate the compartments, the legos keep falling out of the bin and on to the floor. When the kids take apart the 3 compartments to play with their sorted legos, the bottoms area open and the pieces just fall onto the floor for added clean up.These are my experiences with the item. The idea and concept works just some parts that I didn't anticipate that made me not want to buy more of these for the rest of their Legos. I think I will stick to the tubs.

Great Lego Storage
+ Great looking storage+ Doesn't take up a lot of space, stackable+ Easy (and fun) sorting is genius and makes finding pieces easier+ Can add more layers in the future+ Easy to tote around- Containers are a bit difficult to open and close until broken in- If you buy two sets, the bottom most layer cannot be stacked. Not the end of the world, but it would make sense to have all pieces expandable.Overall, I'm very happy with the Blokpod as it makes storage and play easier and more appealing. I purchased two and was planning on putting them together but actually they work pretty well apart as it's easier for kids to carry around.I have the duplo legos in there for now and it works fine (just no sorting).

Loved the concept; execution not so much
Finally tried out the Blokpod today with my 5-year-old and it was a total fail. Loved the concept, but despite shaking and twisting the Blokpod the smallest blocks would not migrate to the bottom tier. Everything got bunched up in the middle, which defeats the purpose. Would have been much easier to just dump everything in a box--and less time consuming as well.

Difficult to open and close
Seemed like a cool concept but it's very difficult to unhook the sections from each other. Like really hard. You have to twist each piece until it locks in place and it's really hard to do. I had the hardest time and got really frustrated and my 6 year old was never able to do it on his own (and he's pretty dang smart). Would be great if there were maybe outside latches or something to make it more user friendly. We ended up using a rubbermaid bin.

Love this product!!!
Live this lego sorter/storage containers. I had no issues with it being difficult to open like other reviewers mentioned. Just twist to unlock. I love that it divides the lego pieces by size. It makes it easier to find what your looking for. I plan to buy one for our younger son for his birthday, and maybe one for our oldest daughter. I highly recommend this as other "lego brand" containers are much more expensive, and don't fit as much.

Easily separates Legos
I really like the Blokpod. It has lots of room and sorts the Legos easily! I like that it is clear so I can see what I have! The only thing I am not fond of is the containers are hard to get apart with the smooth sides you can't get a good grip.

Legoooooooooo's
Our six year old is into Legos, like most six year olds. The downside is how to store them. I mean really, store them somewhere other than imbedded in feet. We've tried bins, tackle boxes, drawers, etc. I'd just about given up on ever being able to have a solution. Until Amazon, because Amazon. My six year old loves it, immediately broke down the fifty thousand million gajillion random creations he'd built over the past two weeks. We were also able to consolidate three other containers into this one.My only two complaints:1) It would be nice if the Large top section was actually larger. If this is meant just for sorting there's no need for it to be as large as it is, because it is big, so it's clearly also meant for storage. But big Legos require big space which this doesn't provide for. So an additional bin for large Lego pieces is still necessary.2) The closures are simple enough, but the size of the unit is a wee bit cumbersome for a child (and adult). It takes some practice but it's not impossible, not is it a deal breaker. In conclusion, six year old is using this primarily for storage and doesn't much care about the sorting since there isn't adequate space for the large pieces. Parents like that the Legos are finally contained. As much as they ever are.
