Replaces the battery door, and then connects to the Aux Jack. **Q: Do you have a list of the preloaded sounds??? What range can you operate the caller from remotely,,How far??** A: the farthest i have set up from the caller was about 30 yards. i havnt tested how far out it will reach. at the distance i set it at it does need direct line of sight from the remote to the caller or the caller wont respond to the commands. **Q: Which call do I need for pig sounds?** A: Any of the FOXPRO units, except for the Deadbone, can be reprogrammed with any sounds. In the FOXPRO library, we have hog sounds, but hogs will also respond to prey distress sounds (not as much as a coyote, fox, or bobcat will). If any FOXPRO unit you are interested in does not come with specific hog sounds that you are looking for, keep in mind that they can be added to all models, except the Deadbone. The unit is easy to setup, and easy to use. I recommend trying it out before you get to the field, so you can1) know and be comfortable with the layout of the remote control. Don't want to push the wrong button in a low light condition!2). Hear for yourself the volume levels for each sound you plan on using in your set(s).3). See for yourself how the Black Jack works (awesome action!)4) Practice setting the unit in the field. Not hard but I practiced so I could do it quickly and quietly.The set I did this week on some semi-urban/semi-rural coyotes near Sacramento, it only took about 3 minutes of calling before a young female showed up. I used the jack rabbit distress call at a very low volume (calm morning, with just a gentle wind). She was fascinated with the Black Jack and presented a beautiful broadside at less than 30 yards. One shot with some 00 buckshot and she dropped. I am super impressed. The caller I had been using for years finally died. It used a rechargeable battery and cassettes and did the trick for a long time but alas, it succumbed to the inevitable. I needed to get something new and read the reviews of this caller and decided I would give it a try. For $99, I thought I couldn't lose. What a GREAT caller. I took it out this morning to go crow hunting and its sound was every bit as loud and as effective as my old Johnny Stewart, which I loved. The crows came in within minutes and circled me like the movie "The Birds" which is the same experience I have basically always had when using my old caller. The sound was very crisp and clear and it was nice not being limited to where I put it, based on the limitation of the speaker wires like my old caller. The remote works very well and at a distance! I've used it out of direct line of site, and it works great, but watch that you don't go more than 30 or 40 yards. Otherwise, direct line of site has been good up to the 100 yards I've used it so far. It's light and compact. In fact I was quite surprised to see how small it was when i received it. It's easy to use. No fancy set up, and downloading other sounds from web sites are a snap. Just read the directions. In the five times I've used it, I called in a fox, a coyote and crows using their specific calls. The not so good: At the price point, it should at least include lanyards and a carry bag. Seems a bit picky, but there ya go.
