I have to change my sediment filters monthly due to iron (then the iron and carbon filters every 2-3 months due to iron) and these do just as good a job filtering as the more expensive ones - a good value. I think the carbon filter is what actually changes the taste of the water but my well water tastes good right from the well - I just have very high iron. My system is easy for me to change out filters; I've never had any leak.
