The sound is quite good. The touch light feature is a mixed bag. I use it in bed and I keep touching it when I don't want the light on. It's very bright. I also seem to have some trouble with it coming on sometimes in the cycle-through-all-the-colors mode. I just want a light in bed, I'm not opening a disco. The light feature is a little finicky. Using it in bed, the audio cable comes off of one side but the buttons are on the other side. That's not super convenient because the cable side is pointed at me, that's where the mp3 player is. So I have to fumble around on the opposite side to poke buttons that I can't see, and I usually end up touching the top and turning on the light.So, I do get frustrated with it, but I also love it. It's very bright, bright enough to read by definitely. It has fairly loud sound when needed. It just seems to be confusing me quite often, and I seem to confuse it just as frequently. Only has a hint of bass, it gets fairly loud, isn't very crisp, and almost sounds like the music it's supposed to be playing. The light change to the music mode could probably induce a seizure, it's super spazzy and just horrible, it could be used as torture it's soooo annoying. It's the worst feature ever, I will only ever use that feature when showing people how ridiculously bad it is, or to torture my enemies.Only the white light is dimmable. The skip tracks buttons work with my android phone. The description says 256 color changing, but mine only cycles through 3 white brightness levels and 6 other colors.This is not a 5 star item, don't listen to the bought off reviewers. 4 maybe if you like the spazz light mode, and don't care about sound quality. It's a nifty little cheapo device. I was very impressed with the seller.As far as the product itself goes, the bluetooth connection was quick and easy, and the sound quality is pretty good. The bass is slightly lacking, but in a speaker this size at this price, I am very satisfied with my purchase. The only real downside is that a voice speaks when you turn the product on and connect the bluetooth, and the voice is a little hard to understand.Overall, the product was a great buy for the price.
