## Description

desertcart.com : DXOPHIEX Automatic Fish Feeder Food Dispenser Vacation Fish Feeder | Powered by Battery and USB, For Aquarium and Turtle Tank : Pet Supplies

Review: Effective Automatic Fish Feeder / Vacation Fish Feeder - This automatic Fish Feeder Food Dispenser is a game changer for fish tank care when on vacation. It can be set to dispense every 8 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours. I found that if using flakes type food you need to break it up a little smaller to make sure the unit doesn't get clogged / blocked with larger flakes. The unit works best with smaller particle food types. It is easy to use and the portion control is great for keeping your tank clear of excessive food distributions with the right adjustment setting. The unit is the right size to easily feed fish for up to 3 or 4 weeks depending on the setting frequency. Love that it can clip onto the opening of the light hood of my tank. Very Pleased with this fish food feeder.
Review: From Vacation Backup to Permanent Staple - Reliable Daily Performance I originally purchased this automatic fish feeder to cover feedings while I was on vacation. However, it worked so well and was so consistent that I decided to leave it on permanently. It has completely simplified my daily routine and ensures my fish are fed on the same schedule every single day. Key Features Long-Lasting Battery: I’ve been using this on battery power for over 4 months now, and it still hasn't needed a replacement. Perfect Fit: I was happy to find that it fits perfectly on my hood, making the installation quick and secure. Dual Power Peace of Mind: The fact that it can be powered by both battery and USB is a huge plus for permanent use. I don't have to worry about a power outage interrupting the schedule. Quiet and Consistent: It operates smoothly and quietly in the background without any issues. Simple Setup: It was very easy to program the feeding times, and it has remained accurate since day one. The Verdict Whether you're heading out of town or just want to automate your aquarium maintenance, this feeder is a great investment. It’s reliable enough for everyday use and gives me one less thing to worry about.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Use large food and it'll probably work fine
*by E***O on August 23, 2026*

You can't exactly control how much comes out of it. Even when you try it either dumps a lot or almost nothing. I was using betta pellets and they are very small so that probably wasn't helping. It's easy to put together and durable. It has a base that makes it stable if you leave it alone but I was still paranoid about it falling over. It's small so it's easily portable. It could just be a user error thing and I didn't realize it doesn't work well with betta food. Still a decent product I just think you need to have larger food for it to work better.
