A: Peel back the rubber diffuser and solder directly to contacts.

**Q: Will a 12 volt DC transformer with 300 ma output work okay or do I need more current output?**
A: My 4mm red is rated at 5W per meter.

**Q: Does the backside light up if you remove the back tape?**
A: Mmm...no, not really. If you want light on both sides, you can carefully bend a strip at a cut point and stick the bent strip together, back to back. Just be careful and don't put a tight crease in the strip; allow for a radiused bend so as not to weaken the strip at the flex point.

**Q: Can you dim this strip?**
A: Yep, as long as you've got a variable power supply.

I cannot understand the negative reviews on this item. It is perfect for a tight application. The adhesion is very good and the light is continuous like neon. You do need a power supply but that is normal. Very flexible and easy to attach. The best part is the thin width. It's easy to conceal, yet plenty of light output and it's dimmable. Very satisfied.
