So I threw my super gross off shore fishing clothes in with the soap nuts, expecting to have to wash them again. But nope! So far so good, my first 4 loads came out clean, smell clean and have not had any issues with the bag opening from the double knot I tied it in. I have added a small amount of my homemade laundry soap for very dirty laundry as one item came out of the previous load still feeling a bit "crunchy" (it was a washcloth, so no clue how that would happen).
