The guidebook is nicely comprehensive. It offers very good planning and traveling tips, good maps of all regions and helpful details on, need to know’. I specially liked the 2 and 3 week trip route suggestions and sufficient details provided on how to get to places, public transport, and best things to do suggestions. Culture, hiking, dining, shopping, nothing falls short.

Perfect travel size!

While it is packed with lots of information, I found the font just too small to read so it was a waste of my time and money. We are in our 60’s, and in my opinion, the best way to experience South Korea, is to watch a few YouTube videos on the necessities of getting around, then just jump right in! Make some hotel reservations and explore the various cities on your own! You can literally book a different hotel every night in downtown Seoul to get exposure to completely different neighborhoods-we did just that and have no regrets. Just make sure you have a super sturdy suitcase on wheels! We also jumped on a bus to Sokcho, then a high speed train to Busan and back. All of this with very little research, reservations placed on websites the night before each stay. Learn the subway, train and bus system as you go. Enjoy the excitement and freedom from having to plan every detail of your vacation - it makes travel so much more fun. Skip the book and just go!
