Long Countdown Duration: Calculates up to 9999 days in the future. Backlight Function: Bright LCD lights up with any button press and turns off after 10 seconds of inactivity (extends battery life). Look Function: Press the "Look" button any time during the countdown to check the target date (Switch between L1 to L6). Clear/Memory Function: To clear the countdown, press and hold the "Clear" button for 5 seconds. All previous data is saved (even after battery replacement). Pressing "Enter" without making any changes will continue the countdown from the last saved data. Alarm: The alarm will ring for one minute at the end of the countdown. Press any button to stop the alarm. Battery: Requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included). Review: This one seems new in the market, I've tried to look for many other day countdown timers for my friend who is retiring but this one doesn't compare with any of the other ones. For a similar price it contains multiple frames specifically designed for the most common important events, each with its own dog breed artwork. I can tell there was so much effort going into designing the frames and I can use this forever depending on the next occasion and get reminded of the days to the next event, at the same time being able to look at the cute dogs for that extra boost of happiness. The size is just right for any table or counter, and the instructions were fairly easy to follow as well. The only small downside is that the screen is a bit darker compared to how it's shown in the images, but the screen is big enough that it is very readable from anywhere in the room, and the backlight's high brightness, turned on with a press of a button, makes up for it as it is a lot brighter than how it's shown in the images.

This one seems new in the market, I've tried to look for many other day countdown timers for my friend who is retiring but this one doesn't compare with any of the other ones. For a similar price it contains multiple frames specifically designed for the most common important events, each with its own dog breed artwork. I can tell there was so much effort going into designing the frames and I can use this forever depending on the next occasion and get reminded of the days to the next event, at the same time being able to look at the cute dogs for that extra boost of happiness. The size is just right for any table or counter, and the instructions were fairly easy to follow as well. The only small downside is that the screen is a bit darker compared to how it's shown in the images, but the screen is big enough that it is very readable from anywhere in the room, and the backlight's high brightness, turned on with a press of a button, makes up for it as it is a lot brighter than how it's shown in the images.
