Microfiber Fingerbrush, 3 Pack, Battery Powered, White, for Dogs

One of my dogs lets me do anything to him and easily accepts a doggy toothbrush all the way to the back both on the insides and outsides of his teeth. What an angel! My girl, not so much even though I have been brushing her teeth since she was a pup and she is almost nine years old. She will accept the brush on the out side of her mouth but inside she will only allow me to do the tops. But she will accept me using these little finger brushes on the bottom inside of her mouth all the way to her back teeth with no struggle. The are a bit difficult to wash as the paste does not come off easily but I am relieved that I can finally get back there with minimal struggle. Glad I found them.

My 1-year old, 13-lb dog freaks out when I try to use the toothbrush on him, but doesn't mind me using these on his teeth. I can see yellow on it after using so I know it's removing something. I have used it dry, or with just warm water or with doggie toothpaste. It washes up good with a drop of dish soap and warm water after using, and then left to air dry. I threw the first one out and started using a new one after about 4-6 months just because it seemed like a good idea, but probably didn't have to, it was not falling apart or anything. Combined with occasional dental chews and dental wax applications, my dog's teeth are fairly clean with just a little staining. I'm guessing a real brush would work better if you can use it, but I'm just excited I found something he will let me use other than my finger.

The fabric is the good stuff, but it's thick. Add in the bulk of the seams and these don't come close to fitting between my dog's teeth and her lips. My dog is a smallish medium-sized with a small muzzle. I think they would work well for larger breeds, or breeds with larger mooshy cheeks/muzzles, like a good qualuty cocker spaniel.

These WOULD work great, but the reason I have to give this product three stars is that they are a bit thick. I cannot fit them well inside of my chihuahua's mouth, but he prefers these to the soft brush I use. I suppose with a larger working space, on a larger breed dog, these would work really well. It is a great concept, but I would need micro-thin fabric in order for these to work on my dog! They offer friction to remove tarter or plaque and if you moisten them with warm water and use with or without toothpaste, your dog will likely accept your finger in his or her mouth as opposed to the foreign feel of a toothbrush.

I brush my dog's teeth EVERY single night and these make the process so incredibly easy. Those silicone/plastic finger brushes just don't stay on. This one DOES! Because of the way it fits, you probably don't even need the little elastic loop that goes around the middle finger or thumb (assuming you put the brush on your index finger) to keep it in place. The fit is so nice and not cumbersome - it's very easy to feel that your getting every single tooth. I have and Italian Greyhound (known for their small mouths full of a TON of teeth) and he seems to enjoy this ritual every night - I believe due to the comfort of this brush in his mouth. I buy these quite often - one lasts about a month (I wash it out with super hot water and On Guard cleaner every time I use it).

We purchased toothbrushes for our cats but they were impossible to use even with me holding each cat while my husband tried to use the brush. But with the finger gloves, we've been able to do it: I hole each cat in my arms, pulling the back of the neck gently to relax the cat, while my husband wears the finger glove with a bit of kitty toothpaste and goes over along their gum line on the inside and outside, both top and bottom teeth. I haven't been to the pet dentist since we started using these but will update review. We're cleaning our cats teeth every 2-3 days at a minimum as thats how long it takes for the tartar film to build up.

I have a 32 month old Yorkie who is difficult to clean teeth. This product cannot be introduced more than 1 inch from midline because she resists. I don't know if it is because there is a taste to it or because she resists almost every thing done to clean her teeth. Still looking for a solution.

Work great. Just have to wash in sink and dry in between uses. I have 4 and 2 new ones on the way. They work good for my little yorkie’s teeth. Started using these after his 2nd dental and 12 tooth extractions. Wish I knew about these sooner. With a toothbrush, dogs get scared you are trying to jam a stick in their mouth but with these, they allow you to clean their teeth. Even the finger brushes dont work. Only these work. And I read reviews on competitors’ product - 10 socks. These form fit your finger and are worth the price.
