Any complaints from training partners?** A: Matthew - Generally headgear is not used for BJJ....however as this product is often used for wrestling, we can not foresee any complaints from a training partner. My son is right at 21 inches so trying to decided on youth size or this one.** A: My son has a normal to large head. I measured it today at 23 3/4". Given the amount of velcro on the straps, 21" would fit. It's just a matter of adjusting all the straps to get the best fit. Thanks** A: What covers the ears are foam.... The only "plastic" is the clear cups on the sides. My boys love theirs!
