My flowers and fruit trees love it
I know what you're thinking: is this product really made from dried, processed human poop? Yes. Yes it is. Fortunately, it smells quite a bit better than that. Second, the little granules make it easy to spread evenly in my garden beds and around my fruit trees. Finally, I used it for the first time last year and had the best fruit harvest I've ever had. Coincidence? Maybe. But I've now ordered a second bag of poop and I'm hoping for similar results.

It works!
I was shocked. I am a minimalist when it comes to lawn maintenance. I don’t want anything that takes too much effort and I don’t want to pay subscription services for those costly big name lawn companies like TrueGreen. Funny thing is TrueGreen isn’t guaranteed. My lawn guy told me he has customers with TrueGreen and their grass isn’t green and their gardens/shrubs still have bugs. I researched some on how to keep your grass green. I kept seeing this brand repeatedly in my search and in chat forums. I also liked that application wasn’t too difficult. Again I am a minimalist, so I used gloves and a plastic cup to spread on my lawn. When I YouTubed how to apply, I saw that it is recommended to use a distributing machine I do not know what it is called but it looks like a wheelbarrow that you put into the wheelbarrow and as you push it it evenly disperses the Milorganite. Half of this bag was enough for one application to my front and backyard but I used the entire bag for my entire front yard and a third of my back yard. I noticed the back yard where I dumped the remaining Milorganite in one section I got the GREENEST yield ever. I am talking lush GREEN and bountiful. This tells me it’s better to put more for a stronger yield. Because my front yard where I attempted to evenly disperse by scooping with a plastic cup and sprinkling/shaking the cup in controlled movements to distribute it as evenly as possible, didn’t produce a strong yield. I like that the application doesn’t require much aside from some water. So plan to place after a fresh cut but before a rain or after a fresh mow and turn on the sprinklers after applying which is what I did. Also they recommend four applications a year linked to major holidays so it is very easy to keep up with: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labors Day and Thanksgiving. Very cost effective.

Good product to green up your lawn
I applied this the end of May using a Scott's broadcast spreader. I used two bags for 1/4 acre. The grass here in central PA often gets brown if a person doesn't water, which I refuse to do. This Milorgranite kept the lawn green and growing even when it was 90+ degrees for a week. Compared to neighboring lawns, there is no brown in my lawn. I have often struggled with rusty lawn this time and year and so far it has done the job. When applying nitrogen, the risk of burning the lawn is always high especially if using above 20% nitrogen in the summer from my experience. This Milorgranite does not burn the grass at all. I am considering getting another two bags for later July, but will see. The one thing with this product use is you will be mowing a bit more than your neighbors, but I definitely have a golf course rough looking lawn. The grass is full and soft to walk on. So far I am pleased. The only reason I give it a four star rating is because I don't have any long term use using it.An add on to my last year comments: This stuff is not cheap, but its not like Urea which greens your lawn up quick and is pretty cheap. Milogranite is natural, therefore it's slow release. It works really well and keeps the lawn green all year. If you really want a cheap product, then go to your local farmer and ask for cow manure, but you will have neighbors screaming at you due to the stench. Milogranite does not stink and it works similar to cow manure.

Green Lawn all year long.
The media could not be loaded. Stuff is amazing. Have been using it every year....Just keep your grass high if you are in an area that doesn't get a lot of rain.

Haven’t used it yet but happy it’s safe to put on my lawn without worrying about my dogs walking on it.

This stuff acts like a soil buster
Wow! This stuff acts like a soil buster!!! My plants love it. When I first read the reviews I thought yah, okay, whatever. Then I tried it and now I am writing a grand review. Little pricey but worth every penny. I have extremely hard ground/soil. I have lost a lawn because of the soil despite the amount of watering. When I bought this, it wasn't for my soil, that happened by mistake. I bought it for my plants and noticed a healthy difference in just a couple of weeks. I spilled some on my partial grass lawn area and watered it in even though I knew that I didn't have to water it in because you can apply it dry to your plants and don't have to water it in right away. The area that I spilled it on was turning green so I put more on what most people would not consider a lawn and by the end of summer despite our 100-110 degree weather, I had a green lawn. The only plants I have that I am not 100% sure that it really made a difference are my Plumeria plants but they are sensitive and need feeding often anyway. My local stores can't seem to keep it in stock so I order direct from their website.
