Long awaited Fist of the North Star
This is the Fist of the North Star game that fans of the series have been waiting for! Be far the best representation to date! I have to mention that some aspects of the game are a little cheap. I feel the character animations are really stiff and lack the grace of movement found in most polished next gen games. Character movement is also very stiff and you may find yourself punching in open space when you thought you were dead on your target. The graphics are good but parts of it give me a PS2 or original Xbox game feel.. Still If you're a fan of the series or have just been looking for a good brawler, this game is definitely worth a try!

Pretty good overall
Firstly, the story progresses very quickly and leaves out a lot of the plot. We are talking the first 30 episodes are covered in 2 levels fast. If you have not see the anime, then you may be left wondering how exactly everything fits together. After chapter 3 though, it seems that the story telling pace slows up as the next 120 episodes are spread among about 9 chapters. Things after chapter 3 or 4 also begin to get a little more interesting as fighting is very slow until you unlock a few of Kenshiro's abilities. When you do though, you will see a constant torrent of blood & guts while listening to the bones of your victims crack. There is 2player coop, but you must play through ken's legend mode to unlock most of them - happens as you progress. Though you only need to complete the first 4 chapters to unlock enough coop characters to be able to unlock the rest via coop.As I said earlier, combat is very slow in the beginning. Though it is aesthetically understandable and once you start unlocking more abilities, the combat and combo's you can pull off are truly sick. One good test to see if you will like this game. Watch the first 30 episodes of Fist of the North Star. If you like them, you will like this. If you did not, then you most likely won't.

Fist of the Dynasty Warriors!
It's Fist of the North Star, but it's definitely Dynasty Warriors at the same time. It's more than just Dynasty Warriors altered to look like Fist of the North Star characters because it does have stories from the anime and manga, and it is fun, a LOT more fun in comparison to the dynasty warriors. If you like Dynasty Warriors and are a fan of the anime or manga then you'll enjoy this game. If you have a strong dislike of Dynasty Warriors (Like I do) but you are a fan of the anime/manga then you'll still enjoy it. I really enjoyed all the over the top blood and gore, it's faithful to the anime and it's really fun to hear Ken say "You are already dead."

Great Beat em up
This game is great in terms of its genre, and better for fans of the hit anime series, the game play may get a little repetitive after awhile but its best for these type of games if you spend short amount then pick it up later again and play, it savers it IMHO. If you are a fan of anime and games such as Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors, this will be a good buy for you.

Careful. Your head may explode from gameplay
A month before buying the game, I watched half of the first series just to gear up and understand the North Star universe. It left me very excited in wanting to try this title out. After playing it, I think this will be my last purchase of a Dynasty Warrior-esque game for a couple of reasons.Pros:-If you're a fan of the anime or manga series, it follows the storyline pretty closely. I was honestly surprised to see they included the young characters from the messed up world, like Bat and Lin. The translation from anime to game is perfect as well. After you perform a signature move, there's a brief pause describing the move after your character executes it, much like in the anime.-Dynasty Warriors w/ a Twist: Plays like Dynasty Warriors but has a hardcore feel to it. I don't ever remember seeing a pirate explode in my edition of DW: Empires.-You are already dead!Cons:-Boredom and Repetitiveness: After you've gotten past Chapter 6, most of the landscape begins to look like the same maze over and over. The enemies aren't any help either. If you've seen one guy with a club or axe, you bound to see 50 other clones about every 40 seconds. There are timed and sub-missions which might pop up sometimes and are quite fun. It helps you earn extras for that current mission, but even that gets old. Most of the Dynasty Warrior games I've played have always suffered from this.- Boss Battles: All of the boss battles are the same. Though there is one with a horse o.OOverall: It's average at best. I love the concept. I love its likeness to the anime. I love the characters and English dub. I even love watching the heads of enemies blow up like a balloon until they go *pop*. But Stage 1 is no different than Stage 12. If you're a fan of the anime/manga, it's a great adaptation to check out. I wouldn't see why Dynasty Warrior fans wouldn't like this either. But honestly, it just gets boring. If you want to try a game similar to Dynasty Warriors with a hint of anime (and is way more entertaining), I recommend Sengoku Basara 3. At least that game isn't already dead....Yes. I went there....

the game is ok. not the best but just ok.
I believe it has some interest to it, but its not the best game ever. And the reason being is because it doesn't have a lot of levels for the price that was paid for it.

Both the case and the disk were covered in gunk. Next time you sell something, at least make sure it's clean.
