Review: These are a requirement for putting up sun shade sails. Seems shady to me. - I like this product, as it allowed me to properly attach my shade sail to the house and posts. What I don't like is that every sun shade sail company advertises their product as "such and such price" for a complete package to buy and install...until you read the reviews you would not be aware that you need to drop an extra $30+ to actually be able to install it. The flimsy ropes they include are a joke. If you didn't read reviews closely you could easily miss this and end up waiting however long for one of these kits or running out to the hardware store. It seems a shady practice to me. I suspect these kits are also sold by the companies selling the sails? Who knows?

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be mounted to the side of a vinyl siding house?**
A: I would not recommend attaching to a single point on the vinyl siding due to the pressure. It will likely pull out of the siding/sheathing unless you happen to catch a stud. I attached a 3’ pressure treated 2x4 to the house and then installed the sail kit to that to spread the pressure over a larger area.

**Q: Why does this only come with two turnbuckles when there are four mounting points for the sail?**
A: not sure of how you plan to mount your sail, but if it is a square sail, you can use a carabiners for one corner eyelet with turnbuckle at opposite end eyelet along same edge of sail and vice versa for other two eyelets.As I don't have a visual of how you plan to mount your sail, I'm a bit limited on further advice, all the best with your project

**Q: can you adjust the length of the cables?**
A: Cables can be adjusted to a limited degree using the turnbuckles. For more major adjustments, the cables can be shortened or added to using matching crimps, eyelets and a crimping tool

**Q: where does thess cables attach to the 12 foot square wind sail**
A: Hi Sharon cables may or may not be needed depending on how you plan to attach the sail. If you have fixing points that match size of sail, you can use turnbuckles only if fixing points are (post or building) are further away cables can be strung between them and cables threaded through sail corner eyelets. If this is the case may need some D clamps to keep sail secured to cables. All the best girls can do anything☺️

This sunshade is the best quality to stand the Arizona sun..Its easy to install ..One person can do it..The price is very reasonable..I bought the sail and hardware from Amazon . I like this product, as it allowed me to properly attach my shade sail to the house and posts. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cables and anchors are well made

This is mostly well made hardware. The cables are well finished and all the hardware is 304 stainless. The only problem is that the threads in the turnbuckles are poorly cut. This makes them very hard to turn when there is any tension on them. It appears to be worse for the left hand threaded side.
